Privacy Policy
How we collect, use, and protect your information.
Last updated: June 26, 2026
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Torch'D Studios (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and safeguards information when you visit our website or get in touch with us about a project. Torch'D Studios provides custom web design, web development, and digital marketing services for local and small businesses.
This policy applies to the torchdstudios.com website and the contact form on it. By using our website, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the site.
2. Information We Collect
We aim to collect as little information as possible — only what we need to respond to you and keep the site running well.
Information you provide
When you complete our contact form, you may share the following with us: your name, your email address, an optional phone number, a message describing your project, and a response to our “How did you find us?” field. We use this information solely to reply to your inquiry and discuss working together. You are never required to provide more than you are comfortable sharing, though leaving out key details may limit how well we can help.
Information collected automatically
We use Plausible Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how visitors use our site. Plausible is a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics service. It does not use cookies, does not collect any personal data, and does not track you across other websites. The statistics we see — such as page views, referral sources, and general country-level location — are aggregated and cannot be used to identify you individually.
Local storage
Our site stores a single theme preference (light or dark mode) in your browser’s local storage. This is a functional setting that remembers your display choice on your own device. It is not used for tracking, is not shared with anyone, and never leaves your browser.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information described above to:
- Respond to your inquiries and provide quotes, proposals, and project details.
- Communicate with you about a current or prospective engagement.
- Operate, maintain, and improve our website and its content.
- Understand, in aggregate, how our site is used so we can make it more useful.
- Comply with our legal obligations and protect against misuse of the site.
We do not use your information for automated decision-making, profiling, or targeted advertising.
4. Cookies & Tracking
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not allow third parties to place tracking cookies through our site. Our analytics provider, Plausible, is cookieless and collects no personal data. The only data we store in your browser is the theme preference described above, which is kept in local storage rather than a cookie.
Because we do not set tracking cookies, our site does not display a cookie-consent banner. If we ever change this practice, we will update this policy and provide the appropriate notices and choices.
5. How We Share Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share information only in the limited circumstances below.
Service providers
We rely on a small number of trusted providers to operate our site. Our website and contact form are hosted and processed through Netlify, which handles form submissions on our behalf. Our aggregate, cookieless analytics are provided by Plausible. These providers process data only as needed to deliver their services to us.
Legal compliance
We may disclose information if required to do so by law, or if we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to comply with a legal process, enforce our agreements, or protect the rights, property, or safety of Torch'D Studios, our clients, or others.
6. Data Retention
We keep the information you submit through the contact form for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and, where applicable, to manage our working relationship and meet legal, accounting, or recordkeeping requirements. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or remove the details that could identify you. Aggregate analytics data contains no personal information and is retained only in summary form.
7. Your Rights & Choices
You may request to access, correct, or delete the personal information you have shared with us by emailing torchdstudios@gmail.com. We will respond to reasonable requests in accordance with applicable law. Because we collect very little information, fulfilling these requests is usually straightforward.
Your California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, you may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what personal information we hold about you and to request its deletion. We do not sell personal information, and we have not done so in the preceding twelve months. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email address above.
8. Children’s Privacy
Our website and services are intended for businesses and adults, and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
9. International Visitors
Torch'D Studios is based in the United States, and any information you provide is processed and stored in the United States. If you access our site from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in a country whose data protection laws may differ from those in your location.
10. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information we collect, including serving our site over encrypted connections and working with reputable providers. However, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please avoid sending sensitive information through the contact form.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
12. Contact Us
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or how we handle your information, please reach out to us at torchdstudios@gmail.com.
